About The Publisher
The Managing Director, Julia Baskerville has been publishing magazines for local law societies for over twenty years.
Julia works very closely with the local law societies and is a co-opted member of the Liverpool Law Society Editorial Sub-Committee and is the Chair of the Manchester Law Society Editorial Sub-Committee. In 2014 she was on the judging panel for the Manchester Junior Chamber of Commerce (JCI) Rising Star Awards.
A graduate of the University of Central Lancashire and Falmouth School of Art and Design, Julia was also awarded an Erasmus scholarship to study at the University of Amsterdam and the School of Journalism in Utrecht.
Prior to launching Baskerville Publications Julia was a freelance journalist working in both local radio and press, specialising in trade union and industrial news.
Julia was the recipient of the Fred Porter Memorial Prize for writing on trade union matters and was awarded the Iris Jefferson Award by the Civil and Public Services Union.
